How to configure Eclipse/STS network proxy settings?

When you are using eclipse or any eclipse based IDEs (ex: STS) in your office where the network is configured with proxy server, and if you want to add any plugin or update any software you have to configure the proxy settings in the IDE.
Below are the simple steps to configure proxy settings for the IDE.
 1.) Go to windows/preferences menu in the IDE menubar and it will display preferences window.

 2.) Search for "Network" in the Preferences window search field.
3.) Select "Network Connections" node and it will display proxy entries in the right side.
 4.) Now select "Manual" item from the Active Provide dropdown field.
5.) Select a row (HTTP,HTTPS,SOCKS) and click edit button to add the proxy host, port, username,  password.
6.) Once the proxy settings are added click Apply and restart the IDE to take the proxy settings.
